This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet (California Only) was sold new by Champion Motors in Pompano Beach, FL and delivered to its first owner in March 1988. The Paint to Sample Granite Green Metallic 911 Cab remained under the first owners care until approximately 1999 when it was traded back to the selling dealer with 82,694 miles. The second owner purchased the vehicle a month later with 82,863 miles and was shipped to Maryland. Vehicle then remained under the second owners for two years and was purchased by a friend in 2002 with 88,833 miles and remained in Maryland through 2011. Vehicle was purchased by the fourth and current owner in August 2011 by private sale where it was listed on Cars.com.
We have the original ad copy intact showing an asking price of $20,000. The ad includes mention of:

Upon purchase, vehicle was shipped to Indianapolis and has remained under the care of the fourth owner since. Vehicle has seen service at mainly two local independent Porsche specialists since this time. Vehice has seen an extensive detailing and presents well. Convertible top works well, all windows work, all lights work and cruise control functioned well on our drive.
