This 1977 Golf GTi was first delivered to Verona Italy on May 26th, 1977. In 2018, the GTi was imported to the United States for the first time. The original MK1 Golf GTi was never available for purchase stateside, making this car an extremely rare sight in North America. We purchased this GTi for a client in February of 2022 as a surprise for this father. Our clients father drove a first-gen GTi while he lived in Germany during the late 1970s, bringing back nostalgia and a lot of great memories. A few years later, we purchased the GTi back from our client. MOTORVAULT has since gone through the vehicle and brought all service up to date. We are proud to offer this pure and un-modified Euro GTi to the US market.
