Delivered new to Ontario, Canada, this E39 M5 was a “BMW Individual” special order. The “Individual” part of this build consisted of the black Nappa leather covering the dash, center console, and door panels and the blue seat center sections. Right after delivery, the car was sent to Engineered Automotive for the Dinan S2 package install. Over the next 5 years, 18,000 miles were added before the original owner decided to have the car upgraded further with the Dinan S3 Package in 2007. The performance figures had a heathy increase with horsepower jumping over 200 and torque jumping over 130 from stock. The original owner retained and maintained the M5 for another 10 years with only 20,400 miles on the clock at the time of sale. The second owner added 300 miles over his 6 months of ownership along with repairing the stone chips on the front end to match the condition of rest of the lovely LeMans Blue paint. In late 2017, a local BMW collector purchased the M5 as an important addition to his fleet of Bavarian legends. Since 2017, the current owner has kept the Dinan S3 dialed in by exercising the car on weekends and staying on top of maintenance. With fresh Michelin Pilot Sport tires and well documented history since new, this M5 is ready to be shown and enjoyed by its next enthusiast owner.
