This 1978 Corvette is a one-owner, 17,000-mile capsule. Finished in Black over Black, this ‘Vette is a true survivor and has been meticulously looked over during its 45 year life. This Corvette was originally purchased from Ray Green Chevrolet in Jacksonville, Illinois, on June 8th, 1978. The owner of the ‘Vette was a truly hard-core muscle car fan as he also had a 1970 Buick GSX in his stable since day one. A friend of MOTORVAULT purchased both the Corvette and Buick from the original owner early this year as a package deal. After a summer and fall of ownership, the new owner could only keep one of the two original beauties. After service was brought up to date, he has chosen MOTORVAULT represent this lovely and highly original Corvette.
