This One-Owner AEV Brute has remained in Indianapolis since new and has seen routine maintenance at Tom O'Brien Jeep.  Vehicle has not been involved in any accidents and has not seen any paint or body work since leaving AEV's facility in 2013.

Factory Options:

The AEV Brute assembled in Wixom, Michigan was released well before Jeep released their own 4-door with a truck bed named the Gladiator.   To build the Brute Double Cab, AEV stretched the original chassis of a four-door JK Wrangler by 23 inches and extended the rear frame to accommodate its custom composite honeycomb pick up bed.  Overall vehicle length grew by 30 inches, bringing it to 216 inches. 

Unlike AEV's previous vehicles destined to appeal to off-road enthusiasts seeking something different, the Double Cab targeted those seeking the same capability but with added interior room and more room for cargo, all with the improved capabilities.   

AEV's craftsmanship and materials are top-notch and the fit and finish of the company's assembly work was impeccable. The details like incorporating the fresh water storage tank in the rear bumper, show how well these Brute's were executed.  

As expected from a vehicle raised considerably higher than stock, the step-in is a stretch and the driving position is commanding.  Despite its high center of gravity, the Double Cab is stable and maneuvers well. Handling is secure, but a wheelbase stretched to 139 inches,  doesn't allow for the same tight turning radius as a stock Jeep.
